Coriolis Proven AccuracyDownstream Marketing & Value Optimization
Celero Energy takes a proactive approach to downstream hydrocarbon marketing. Instead of selling crude at in-basin wellhead posted prices subject to local discounts, our commercial marketing desk leverages proprietary gathering assets and long-term firm transportation capacity to capture premium pricing at key Gulf Coast liquid trading hubs.
We strictly segregate crude streams based on API gravity, sulfur content, and distillation boiling range. Sweet streams (40°–44° API, <0.15% sulfur) are batched independently to meet tight WTI Midland specifications preferred by complex hydroskimming and catalytic cracking refineries in Texas and Louisiana, as well as European and Asian export buyers.
Risk Management & Hedging Governance
Celero’s investment committee enforces a disciplined rolling hedge program using NYMEX WTI and Brent costless collars and basis swaps. This guarantees debt coverage and institutional LP distributions through commodity cycles without sacrificing upside participation.
Quality Assurance & Lab Protocols
Every barrel transferred through Celero skids undergoes automated in-line verification and independent third-party laboratory assay testing conforming to ASTM protocols.
- API Gravity Testing (ASTM D1298): Continuous digital hydrometer and Coriolis density logging.
- Basic Sediment & Water (ASTM D4007): Real-time capacitance cutoff at 0.5% with centrifuge verification.
- Reid Vapor Pressure (ASTM D323): Controlled to <9.0 psi RVP for pipeline vapor safety.
- Sulfur Content (ASTM D4294): X-ray fluorescence analysis segregating sweet from sour batches.
- Metals & Chlorides (ASTM D5185/D5808): Nickel, vanadium, and organic chlorides audited weekly.
