Integrated Midstream Architecture

Celero Energy’s midstream division owns and operates high-capacity gathering, treating, and transmission infrastructure spanning Ward, Winkler, Ector, Crane, and Upton counties. By controlling the entire flow chain from the wellhead to regional transmission interconnects, we eliminate reliance on third-party gathering bottlenecks, protect our realized netback margins, and minimize field flaring.

Our crude gathering grids route production into centralized tank batteries (CTBs) equipped with automated Lease Automatic Custody Transfer (LACT) units. These skids incorporate Micro Motion Coriolis mass flow meters, automated BS&W (Basic Sediment & Water) probes, and electronic proving loops that meet strict API MPMS Chapter 5.6 custody measurement standards.

High-Integrity Vapor Recovery (VRU)

Each centralized processing facility operates twin-stage rotary vane and screw Vapor Recovery Units capable of pulling 4 ounces of vacuum on atmospheric storage tanks. Over 99.8% of tank vapor flash gas is captured, compressed, and sold directly to gas trunklines, dramatically reducing greenhouse emissions.

CO2 & EOR Distribution Trunkline

To support large-scale Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) across West Texas, Celero engineered and operates a dedicated 18.1-mile supercritical CO2 transportation pipeline.

  • Operating Pressure: 1,900 to 2,250 psig ensuring continuous dense-phase supercritical fluid dynamics.
  • Pipeline Specs: 10-inch API 5L X65 heavy-wall steel with fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) internal lining.
  • SCADA Integration: Real-time differential pressure telemetry, ultrasonic flow calculation, and automated shut-in valves at 3-mile block stations.
  • Environmental Sequestration: Safely sequesters thousands of metric tons of CO2 into deep subterranean geological formations annually.

Interactive Fluid Logistics Flow

Hover over nodes for technical processing details from wellhead extraction to wholesale pipeline custody transfer.

Wellhead

Electric submersible pumps and beam pumping units lift three-phase emulsion from 3,000' to 10,000' subsurface formations.

Gathering Grid

Over 480 miles of low- and medium-pressure gathering lines feed crude, casinghead gas, and brine into centralized hubs.

3-Phase Separation

Heater-treaters, electrostatic coalescers, and free-water knockouts split emulsion down to <0.3% BS&W and pipeline-spec gas.

Central Battery

185,000 bbl insulated storage capacity with vapor recovery compression and digital radar gauging.

Pipeline Offtake

Automated LACT skids meter custody transfer into regional interstate trunklines connected directly to Gulf Coast refineries.

Closed-Loop Produced Water & Environmental Grid

Handling over 120,000 barrels of produced water daily through state-of-the-art recycling facilities and EPA Class II injection infrastructure.

Closed-Loop Recycling

Produced brine undergoes advanced hydrocyclone desanding, skim-oil coalescing, and chlorine dioxide biocide treatment. 100% of treated water is recycled into our secondary waterflood injection patterns, completely replacing freshwater withdrawal.

Class II SWD Integrity

Celero operates 14 permitted commercial Saltwater Disposal (SWD) wells permitted by the Texas Railroad Commission. Continuous digital annulus pressure monitoring guarantees isolation from shallow drinking water aquifers.

Automated Leak Detection

Every pipeline segment is monitored by real-time Computational Pipeline Monitoring (CPM) algorithms under API 1130. Any anomalous pressure drop triggers instantaneous automated block-valve closures within 15 seconds.
